Welcome to my world of passion for dogs and commitment to their well-being!

 

I am deeply immersed in the fascinating world of dogs. With an Honours Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, I've delved into the intricacies of animal psychology, which has only strengthened my resolve to ensure that our furry companions lead the best lives possible.

My journey with dogs began at a young age, and since then, I've worn many hats in the canine world. From owning, breeding, and showing a variety of breeds like Border Collies, Papillons, and Tibetan Spaniels to competing in conformation, agility, and obedience competitions across the UK and beyond, I've garnered a wealth of hands-on experience. I am now honoured to be a championship judge for Papillons and Border Collies.

As a Papillon Junior Handler of the year several times and a qualified junior handling judge, I've not only honed my skills in understanding and training dogs for showmanship at the highest level, but also in mentoring and guiding young enthusiasts. My involvement in organizations like the Young Kennel Club and participation in summer camps has further shaped my ability to inspire and educate others in dog handling and care.

In addition to my show handling expertise, I've also delved into the intricacies of canine nutrition through five years of experience as a sales consultant for reputable pet food companies. Understanding the importance of a balanced diet has been crucial in ensuring the overall health and vitality of my own dogs as well as those under my care.

Grooming is another area where I excel, holding an OCN level 3 Dog Groomer certification with over two decades of practical grooming experience. Operating my grooming business since 2015 has allowed me to combine my passion for dogs with the opportunity to help others maintain their pets' optimal health and appearance.

My interest in everything to do with dogs led me to explore pregnancy scanning, a skill I have trained in to offer comprehensive services to fellow breeders and pet owners alike.
